This must be similar to the image that all players have in their mind when they play by first time to first metroid games (inside the armour must be a boy) but the original game have a surprise at the end :P

I have nothing against manga in general, but featureless androgynous people done to the nth degree are just not exciting anymore. No character in the face. All look same. Also, the ear in the big portrait is seriously messed up.

I really hate the manga style, like, with a burning passion, but this is in exception, it's great, once again.

I supose that you don't like the manga style so don't like the piece.

 by the other hand i wanted the same style of the draws that appear in the game, nothing realistic or something like that, but i think that you can't really see a girl looking the sprite.

How I would picture him has nothing to do with being provable or not. You can have a young boy who does not look like a girl with a bob. That was my point. Just personal preference.

Ptoing: you can't say something that you can't proove, i'm sure that solid snake kind would be horrible for this. and it's based on the first adventure of metroid games so naturally the character must be younger than his latest jorneys.

Adarias: I recommend you see more official art of Samus Aran design to understand better the piece.

wah....pwnage

feet are slightly large and it's overly segmented in parts, also i don't really get the sense of broad shoulders or round dness from the portrait which takes up an awkward amount fo the screen (either too much, or too little, depending on what you want ti to do).  Also, the brightness of it steals a bit from the character drawing, i'd set it back quite a bit

....but still great :P
