Who wouldn't want a female Ash? ;) My submission for the contest. It's still a little rough but, oh well... EDIT: Apparently people using Internet Explorer aren't able to see the image. If you click on it, it will show up in a different window, or you can click here, courtesy of Gas13 (thanks, Gas!) Take this as a sign that you should fight the system and download firefox.

Looks way cool! I really like that red lighthing on her. I feel like the hands in the foreground could have been more obvious... not sure how though ;)

Just found the poster. They do used strange bright red color. It seems not fitting to me anyway but no matter since you like it this way.

Weird thing it really doesn't showing up the image in IE. Though if you can't edit it you could add the note that people can click on it. It will be opened in a new window and no red x! Really weird.

Thanks everyone for your feedback! Those who haven't been able to see the image, try Firefox - it works on every computer I've looked at it on.

Gas, for the colors I pretty much modeled it after every Evil Dead poster I could find (mostly Armies of Darkness), and they all have weird, nightmarish colors, which I really liked.

The Necronomicon ex Mortis preview image caught my attention, and when I saw the actual piece, I was awestruck. Army of Darkness (and the Evil Dead series in general) is(/are) my favorite movie(s) ever. I just watched Army of Darkness again only hours ago. Nice job with androgynously-named character.
