The light source is in the top right hand corner.

 I don't see why it would look unfinished, other than horns, which I decided to exclude. And I'm not a fan on any kind of non-solid colored background on 64x64's as well.

I fixed the wonky half-shadow on the neck and slimmed it down a bit, thanks for pointing that out. and commenting.

looks unfinished... eye is good... i dont like the throat and i dont understand the shadows on it.
