Hey don't worry about that, my first pixel is like 251 colors, you can see it in my gallery, I too didn't understand the importance of using less colors, but you learn over time.

you would never believe it, i can hardly believe, I confess it's almost 70...it was done in those days (a month ago) when I didn't know that a small number of colors is desired, you know,every pixel has its own shade. All i can say in my defence is that now it is obvious to me, and I'm sorry...

so i guess, the first thing to touch up is the palette

I like this, it gives a good feel for the scene. Now the real fun begins when in a year you dust this sucker off and work on it some more. I'm constantly digging up old pieces, seeing how they're inferior to my current skillset and attempting to redo or touch them up. Its fun. Can't check here at work, but how many colors is this?

What's the thing in the background? It looks like a giant pointy wall. I like the concept but it could be better.

A truly nice pixel. I see lots of good pixelling for the most part but will advice in future PAs that you keep areas like the hill with the tree in a cleaner and more presice pixelling technique. Here its almost Oekaki, or very close at least, which isn't good.
