The animation isn't very believable for wind. The whole of the tree seems to move in the same direction at the same time. Wind is turbulent with eddies and fluctuations all over the place, so each branch should be moving differently, while still moving with its parent branch.

Firefox does it right, Explorer butchers it, not the other way round...

i think firefox ignores frame speed and puts it on like 10 fps... jaeden said her anim was going too slow... i thought only the drops were too slow, but the lightning was ok. Then i looked in internet explorer and everything on the animation was too slow indeed...

OMG I just saw this on my friends computer and I was like, "Oh noes!" I don't know what to do! Why is it going faster on other internet providers? Is there a way to fix it? I should probably smooth out the animation, but I'm not going to bother if it's just going to look shitty on everyone elses computers.

lol i was already thinking, "wtf, the shaking tree!?" anyway... i saw it in explorer.... not smooth but better 
so... the style is cool but i would have tried to make more detail and not add an animation... rain anim is quite cool in explorer though... nice job, and recognizeable style

I like the background technique, it's very interesting :) And the tree looks excellent, though perhaps a bit too simplistic for my taste :)
