I think the layout is great and the colors work well. There is a lack of detail and refinement however. The palette serves no purpose there. The lineart on the right side of the hill does not go with the style since you outline nothing else. I think its all there but yet its lacking. Until you see a 'mood or feel', landscapes never quite work. Even if using monochromatic colors nature has depth, this does not yet. I would try to develop it further, it does have potential.
