The fur was simplified for aesthetic's sake into a single stroke, so the shiba inu itself is not fat.
Also, unless shiba inu lose their undercoat fur, they don't really look thin.

A little fat for a shiba inu ( they're very lean dogs! ) but really good pixel art. DId you know that shiba's are well known in japan for being bear hunters? Yep, little dog, BIG bite.

Love this one. It's not just good pixel art, it's good art in general. Great AA, great lineart, I can't come up with anything to improve. Definitely a favorite.
