ok guys, you are all correct. It does muddy the waters too much. I think it was allowed in because it looks like pixelart and the Mod was drunk at the time ; )

Believe me I was at odds about submitting it too...But it thought since we do have C64 pieces that follow a similar, though font free sort of convention, that I'd leave it up to the good folks here at PJ to make the call...DOS wan't as cool as C64 or the Amiga, but this is what we had back in the day...Again, if this needs to be pulled to maintain continuity as far as the gallery goes I will understand...

Hmm, I like ANSI and ASCII stuff, but being mostly build out of existing 'blocks' does it really belong here? To me it feels really confusing to see this here while most of the pics by Sondre don't seem to make it because it seems they happen to use a bit too many colours.

hmm, dunno if this is pixelart by definition.. i love ascii and ansi art - dont get me wrong at this, also did a few of these kind of pieces in the past, but though there are parallels to pixeling (limited palette, dithering, aa even, no brush tools =) it's still done in textmode and thus features text mode elements - to date i understood the whole pixeling thing as being defined as.. u know, happening under graphic mode conditions

But anyway, you have to download the source and compile it yourself. But first, you have to install the Apple Developer Tools, X11, and Qt3. It's up to you whether it's worth it or not :/

I tried that last night and downloaded the 4 different versions. None work on my Intel Mac :'(

Nice composition with a throw-up! I don't know what may be inappropriate aside that fonts are predefined, and I would like to see more of such type of art.
