This was done a while ago but for a while i've been working on it, first time i have ever tried to AA so i thought why not over AA it make it look good the background took about an hour, and i added some black widescreen things, i dont know why, and theres loads of colours because of the AA but it was fun,i think this was a real learning experince for me, and i really like this peice now, because i thought AA'ing was going to be one of those things that i was'nt going to be able to do, but look, so c+c please.

the wheels are ... demented... :( but i guess the part that goes around the wheels could be more closer

Nice try, the body work is reconisable.
I'll also mention, it's Elise not Ellise. :o

The most jarring thing for me would be not seing the car inside behind the wheels. Otherwise I think it ain't bad.

Some of you guys are being a little harsh, don't comment on a piece wondering how it got accepted, it's not a nice feeling to read something like that.  Offer constructive criticism, not just criticism. It's looking pretty cool, just keep working at it ok?  Check out some other cars around the site, d-p does some nice ones, and see if they help you.

I think you 'under-anti-aliased'. And it would look "smoother" if you used darker colours (for the anti aliasing)

everything what cure said plus: the wheels look like those of a mediaeval couch rather than of a 1990's car..

that previewthumb sum's it up for me (over here in germany rearlight is a methapor for the bottom of a league)

Well thank you for the comments, i will learn of them and this is my first AA so its not the best.

To be honest, I wouldn't have accepted this.  MoD pointed out the AA issues.  Don't AA 45 degree angles.  There are a lot of jaggies; work on that.  Fix this lineart.  Your curves are zigging and zagging.  Smooth the lineart and work on the aa, to summaraize.  Also, your oranges, and to a lesser extent your greys, which should have some value, rather than pure grey, which is rarely seen in reality, could use more contrast.

Same with me. Put some more effort in ok?  And curve that hood area more.

Me too. What the heck is up with the jagginess of this peice? Honestly I dunno how this got accepted... use your reference better next time.

I could have sworn it was gonna be a cat...

Unfortunately you have made a few errors in antialiasing lines that are close to horizontal or vertical. In general, a line's aa should be about half the length of each pixel-perfect  "step" and extend about half of that distance INTO the line, something you aren't really doing. For example, for the top of the dark bit in the middle of the car the aa pixels should number 3-4 for each "step" and reach 1-2 pixels into the actual dark area.
