Obvious inspiration from Mykola and Cure, two of my favorite pixel artists. As you can see, I'm a rookie in the high contrast colors/ msPanit palette. But I'll be practicing them from now on. 12 colors plus trans.

Yeah, I was also thinking about that, and did the blue just to give it a little extra kick to the craziness. And the blue AA'ing on the bubble was for the same reason.

Edit: Cure, I went with the black outline, looks much better, thanks.

I love the shading on timothy!And Mspaint colors is an extra+!!But i agree with cure,I would go for a dark blue outline!

I linda like that blue aa on red, it looks crazy but kinda cool :)

I'd personally like to see how a black outline looks, I'm not sure that blue is working. The blue AA in the speech bubble is lighter than the red, maybe, but their hues contrast too much, and I'm not sure it works in the end. Other than that, I like.
