Yes, it is part of the submission rules which I just know you read before adding your pixel 
ps: PJ is a member driven community of pixelartists. We can make demands of each other too beyond the few written rules. Its only to keep each other honest and the best possible. You'll find as a general rule we are all harsh and brutal as a form of encouragement and stuff. blah, blah, blah.

Yes, I stated that in the description. I thought it'd be okay to post if I did? It's a blend of the SMS and TG16 versions but also the manual artwork which you can find here: http://www.geocities.com/wonderboyland/
I didn't change the colors because the creator haven't confirmed if I can do that. Sadly he doesn't seem too interested in working more on the game..I recommend playing the current remake though, it's very faithful but much more challenging!

Actually played that remake now. This just looks like an edit of the existing sprite. TG16 version of the game is the only one I'm unfamiliar with.

Nice stuff. Not too fond of the blue armour though, and I think the blue is used a bit overused in all the parts.Always good to see some Wonderboy stuff.
And it'd be nice if you set that horrid pink to trans.
