Golden Sun?  No... a Tales of Game?

Nice sprite, 1up.  I'm liking your style.  It's rather distinctive, while fun and a strange kind of cartoony.  The faces remind me of Cave Story and of Stickmen.  The colors are nice and cheery, and the bodies pretty detailed.  The shading / light source is a little suspect, and I'm not fond of the eyes being on a different level, but it's a nice style.

I see what Scruffs means about the positioning of the legs.  I think the problem happens to be made worse by the shading, with the shadow on his shirt not carrying over to the fully lit leg and suspender even though the contour should be the same.

i like your style dude, make a game already :F  concerning this sprite, hes off ballance, and his legs dont seem to be attached in the right place. Try moving the close one in wards and adjust the other to balance him out.
