I don't care for colours :)

However, I'll fix up the other problems.

I think 9 colours is a bit much for such a simple sprite. And for a simple character like Kirby, you could have done a smoother and more complex animation.

I think that pink you're using as the shadow on his body has too much contrast. You could try making that shade lighter, or just get out a new shade (since it doesn't seem you're going with a low resolution).

As for the animation, I find it odd how his body moves, but his arms don't. You could have them flap out to the sides just a little. And since it's just 2 frames, it might be nice to see a blinking animation added into the whole idle animation.

It's pretty decent though.
