Everyone else was uploading there ss gifts... baa. This was my gift for MrMister whose interests included listening to Frank Zappa. I tried limiting my palette (just 9, yay), did some aa, studied anatomy and a buttload of reference pictures... It's not perfect but I can honestly say I worked real hard making this (using all the advice I've gotten from so many wonderful pixel artists over the past year) and I hope it shows. ;)

His face doesn't exactly look like Frank, but you can recognize him easily by his artistic mustache

Tried a very quick edit (was bored, probably useless edit...), darker space between eyes an eyebrows maybe helps a little bit. But now he looks naughty. XD

Everythings good. But they eyes are surely not he's eyes. But yeah.. still, very nice job :D

Yeah the eyes were the only thing I wasn't happy with... I kept redoing them over and over and over again but couldn't quite capture them just right. ;)

Recognized him just by seeing the preview. :p
(kay, anybody who knows Zappa would have recognized him seeing a mustache like that)
Looks like him almost well, the eyes could be more... er... less clean. Maybe the space between his eyes and eyebrows should be darker... dunno.
