I don't care what that person says about the light source looking gaudy, Because lighting comes from with in. Excellent piece!

I think the lightning looks a little gaudy, and I saw no light source change. Other than that, this is a very wonderful piece.

Its great except for the cart (diff light source?) and the mine shaft and wall near it, shaded poorly. The cliff is fantasitic as is the clouds.

Looks great!

I realize you may not want to do any more work on this piece as the game is longer in production, but if you ever do plan on continuing work on it I have a few suggestions on how I believe the atmosphere can be taken even further:

1. Brighten entire image by 5 - 10% when the lightning flashes.

2. Animate grass blowing in wind (just 3 frames would look great).

3. Adjust brightness/hue of near mountains so they are not brighter than grass. This should improve the sense of depth.

That's really cool! Maybe a little bit of animation on the mountains too would be nice, when there are the lightnings. But it's really nice!

it looks like a set-up frame for a comic (w/o animation that is). I guess it could be a cartoon tho! Regardless, this is very cool & compelling! GREAT JOB!

Yeh i remember seeing this when it was still a WIP.  The finished version looks amazing (if this is the finished version).  The only thing i would add is to have they eys at the bottom blink every so often.  The grass is especially nice as is the lighting effect.

 Hey, I remember this piece...It's a pity the game won't get finished; the art was so good.  It still looks great, except the eyes might want to be desaturated a little; they stick out a bit too much.  Great work, otherwise.

 It's for HELD yes ... unfortunately, the coder gave up, despite the game being at roughly 80% completeness (graphics were at 99%) ... I don't think it will ever be finished, although I may upload the last version we had ... at least it features the animated intro :)

Wow! So beautiful! The rock textures, cloud animation, mountain ranges and the grass -everything!

....EXCEPT, I find the plain red eyes quite distracting...perhaps a white would be better, im not sure. Its still lovely.
