Cthulhu is cool and I like this 2D concept of Dark corners, however the main character in this piece reminds me heavily of David Tennent's portrayal of Dr Who, now Dr Who Vs Cthulhu, that would make a good game.

Haha, I was going to say exactly the same thing as HawkTheSlayer just did. Overall this isn't bad, but your lighting could use some improvement: lightsources jump around and the creature is pillowshaded. Shade the bumps more like individual spheres of which we can see only a part.
