I think both the weapon and the background are really cool. I like the simplicity of the background (I'm assuming those are trees :3).But I'm not sure that the two look good together. It seems a little odd to have the weapon floating. But nice job!

For those who don't know, sakura means cherry blossom. 
They're everywhere in Japanese culture.
