Incrrrredible. I recently tried isometric for the first time, and i can tell anyone that it's much harder than it looks. This is great!

Lots of life. The colors are great. There is something strange about the trees though, it might just be my eyes, but it looks like there are 3 or 4 parallel lines going horizontally across the bunch of them.

heh nice scene for pixeldam :)

I think that you know some little mistakes as different size between gooses and hens, but this is small problems only for my vision  ;)

I like your peoples and idea for yard and walls and many other parts ... keep the good work milady  ;)

Wow that is amazing!

Peccato! Cmq complimenti di nuovo, ottimi lavori, molto dettagliati.

Grazie, ma non è un gioco. Disegno solo per passatempo.

--------------------------

Every element of the scene, the glass, the vase, the staircase, the bush, the hen, every personage etc... has one line of shadow, realized in the same way:  a line of  black pixel rendered transparent "own shadow".
The shadow detaches the element from the bottom, but it is not antialiasing. The antialiasing is not used.
Do you not confuse with the many tonalities of color that I have used in order to age and to ruin the walls of the construction, in order to render clear and dark specks.
All the images introduced in these years on Pixel Joint  and DA and other sites, are realized therefore. It is  my manner to design and seems has been always appreciate to the others.
Sorry for my bad English.

ITALIANO: Questi tuoi scorci sono davvero molto belli (ho visto anche quelli precedenti). Ma il gioco chi lo sta facendo? ;)

ENGLISH: These pieces of landscape are very nice (I've seen also your previous ones), but who are coding the game?

de Thch (Level 1 Private) at 2/15/2008 11:58:15 PM
The shadows are reallizzate with a level of transparency; it's suggest Barry Rijkse, creator of Pixeldam, in its tutorial: http://www.idigitalemotion.com/tutorials/guest/cube/cube.html
But instead using a transparency of the 25%-30%, I have used 16%. What of is mistaken?
I  such have made in all my jobs and nobody, between the most quoted pixel artists, has never made negative observations .

OMG, it's wonderful !

A lot of effing colours here (256). I suspect foul play. Such as the use of semi-transparent layers to create shadows and perhaps automated ant-aliasing for the grey outer edge. Prove that it's genuine pixel art or it gets removed.

amazing!

Wow amazing, the building simply looks great. The trees are a little flat maybe. Everything else is cool.

Adam (Level 8 Brigadier General) at 2/15/2008 9:24:51 AM
Your wall textures are astonishing. Though I think you forgot to finish it at the closest edge of the building.

littlesapphire (Level 4 Shichikyu) at 2/15/2008 9:09:48 AM
That's really fantastic.  I love the feeling it has to it, and all the details make it fun.  I have two problems, though.  The trees are too busy, I think.  The don't hold any structure the way the rest of the picture does.  The other problem I have is with how certain objects have a 1-pixel wide shadow on their left side.  Like the cat, the guy near the window carrying the oranges, and the women near the bottom of the piece.  It makes them look flat and paper-like.  Nice job though!
