Started this SUCH a long time ago... Like, right after the Axohuatl one. I thought I'd lost the line art when I misplaced a flash drive, but as it turned out, my brother had it saved on his laptop. Decided to color it, and it came out like this.

So this is basically a merging of old styles and new styles. The color count is much lower on this one than my older pieces.

Another monster of some sort.

Ah.

There's not much I can do about it. You can't AA to transparency, and there isn't a straight line between a 45 degree angle and 2 pixel incline. :(

Using non-straight lines usually look worse than you intend them to in the long run.

I'll just accept the fact that it's a subpar piece, and move on. I don't have a lot of drive to improve it.

Sorry, I meant the long line right behind the character, which is part of the headband/stripe thing flowing in the wind. I dont know the english word :P If AA does not work, it might help to rounden it a bit like the one above it.

I'm terrible at AA, but I thought you generally didn't AA any 45 degree lines, lest they become too blurry and lose their definition.

I also don't know which line you're talking about :(

You're right, didn't know about the themes :P Well I think you can use the darkest shade more in strategic places to bring out the shapes better. And that 45 degree line definitely could use some AA.

With the color and all, it could fit with a stereotypical Chinese town. =D

But the background is transparent...

Or at least it should be. It is on my screen. Changes to fit the theme.

It' a little hard to read but the design is great. It's probably just the white bg.

To be honest, there isn't much else

Oh well. I'd edit it if I could, but there's not a whole lot I can do to make it less confusing short of completely changing it. Hopefully it looks alright for the confusing thing it is.

Seeing as it's old line art, you'll probably see more of the same coloring from me, and less of the same structure. Hopefully things will work out a little more coherently in the future. Thanks for the input.

Pixel work is good, but the image is confusing. I can see arms, legs, tail and hat, but have little idea about the rest.
