iLKke, i'm working on getting the palette better best i can with my home computer. Sortof purely from knowledge that mine has less contrast in darker colours. Hopefully it'll be a bit better. Thanks aswel, that's good to know. :)
So yeah, i'm working on a update now, have already fixed the mini-faces on the top left, will work on the Marbleface sprite itself now.

Right now I'm viewing this at work, and when I saw it at home couple of days ago I actually thought that you had changed the palette in response to my crit. Now I see that's not the case. The problem with different monitor setups in unavoidable, but one should always strive to make the most robust palettes that will look decent on all monitors.

And regarding this piece being embarrassing , there are a million details out of place on it when compared to your maximum, but the whole piece has a nice feel and a million more awesome details to make up for it!

Thanks Dopple! Of course you're absolutely right. The cape i am very dissapointed in because i rushed the dithering and shading so much i didn't even care about the shard of unfinished highlighting on it. Not sure if i'll fix it someday, but i probs will. I'll look into everything you mentioned.
I've decided that the red balls count for amount of rivals/foes in the group of characters and the blue balls are his allies or simply neutral combatants. Of course only the amount is stated here, sortof like a rep thing.

This is pretty neat. I've a few nitpicks though.

The first, the character, short of his head and cape, lacks depth. I'd even say that the cape lacks a certain amount of depth, it's just that it's been shaded with more contrast than the rest of him that makes me say otherwise. Continuing with the cape, I believe that it could've been smoothed out better. It flows in a very non-continuous manner; there are a lot of bumps and straight edges.

I'm not sure what the red and blue spheres are for, but they look like an afterthought, and therefore out of place. I guess that's about all I can pick out without thinking too hard or going into technicalities.

What I do like is the character design, the always fabulous bombs, and the the character select area. The composition is good too, but the choice of colors and shapes on the right half creates a feeling that they're all fighting for attention with nothing really getting it.

Well that was rather long-winded XD

I'm looking at this on the college computers and they show the dark gray background colour to be so much lighter than the black, much more than it looks to me at home. If thats the case with you to i guess you'll have to bare with me, till i get my new monitor.
EDIT: Although wait, i just checked out this monitor's contrast and gamma stuff on the net and it seems to be too light (other side of the spectrum to my home computer, haha), so i won't worry.

yepp, the cape is my only crit too (a bit too flat, needs folds or something imo), everything else is just top-notch. as usual.

The dithering doesn't seem to fit on the cape...but otherwise this is great!
