I did have a suspicion that it might be flowers, but they're not very readable. Maybe you should make the flowers in a color? It will probably be very hard to make it look good in all black I imagine.

I actually thought of your work when I saw Papaton recently and not the other way around ^^ The first thing that came to mind when you started posting these though was Nintendos old game & watch series, which is cool.
Anyway, keep it up!

And the lump spikes thing is actually a flower but it doesn' tlook right. I'll fix it. And I've heard of Patapon and how this project looks similiar. But never played it.

I don't know why, but it seems like there is a gradient that goes from light to dark from the left to the right, but there isn't. I think that's an awesome effect, of course it may just be my eyes or something :p

I'm not really too fond of the spikes on the cactusses. Some places, especially in the top, they seem to be kindof lumpy. Also I think the green top of the chilipepper has a color that don't really fit in with the rest of the colorscheme. That being said, the rest of the pic looks great!

Have I mentioned how much I love this project?

*I do have one minor issue with this mockup. The swirly thing is too jaggy even for this game/project. It deserves better.
