my apologies.. it's not you, it seems to be internet explorer's interpretation of pngs..

checked it again in firefox and the values are fine

Just ran the pixelchecker program as well and that one says that it's ok.

Thought so too so I opened the png but it's got the same rgb values as the original .gal and web-copied image.
Is there a filter in firefox that I don't kow about?

well, it's probably because you've saved it as .png.. depending on the software you've used it often slightly changes up color-values, for what reason ever

I've copied the pic with at the main page and used those colors. Do you have rgb example values of one of the colors in the pal? Just so that I can check.
Don't think it matters for this piece, but I want to know that I'm calibrated, so to speak, with the rest of the world.

i might be the greatest nitpicker in the biz, but your piece has only 6 colors (needs to use all colors of the 7color-palatte) and more importantly none of the colors belongs the given palette!

hurry up, replace the colors and add another pixel
