These rules are generally accepted across the board at any legitimate pixel art website.  Pixel art is controlling the art at the pixel level, that's what separates it from oekaki.  Anything done on the computer is "just pixels", it's all about the control of those pixels.  No one's criticizing your work, I'm just saying it doesn't fit our guidelines.

No, theres all kinds of pixel art, Pixel Joint just has it's own rules about which are accepted here. Don't be discouraged, it's nice, it just doesn't fit with the rules here.

I think this is pixel art . this  was made  fast and with no precision with promotion but this is just pixels .

oekaki animation.  Good animation, but this isn't really pixel art.  With refinement I don't see why this wouldn't be accepted into the gallery, but messy stick figures are a no-go.

this is a very personal opinion, and please by no means be ofended, but isn't a waste to use promotion for this simple animation? mean, its your money, your choice, your problem, and i respect that. but really, you don't need such an expensive software to work on small things like this, with Eztoon out there for free.
