Road kill market? unknown volume :: Pixel Art Detail

Hmm, the colours i used are the EXACT colours fool  used in his work *shrug* so i'm confused.  Anyway doesnt' matter now :) it was an experiment, and i'm a newb

youre colours are too saturated and not earthy enough to replicate fools work, also too much contrast and youre bright colours are too bright (looks like hes wearing metal pants) too much contrast between dithering

The sole fact of picking Fool as you gallery study subject deserves a recognition.

strange enough, i didn't have lineart for this honestly.  I started slapping pixels down with a fatman idea in mind lol, and well it came out how it came out.

didn't actually aprilfool me, but i instantly knew who is imitated here (and i didn't read the title)

that said, you did a good job, especially the fat man's left hand and his the tie smell like fool. though he has too much checkerboards on the folds, fool is much cleaner on that.. also, the face lacks of detail, you should get rid of the 'lineart-leftovers' (cheek, eye, chin)

Haha, nice one=) Very nice atmosphere feel. A few things I would  change though - add some volume to the figure in respect to the light source, define a face properties - a little uncertain what is going on there, skin fold lacks of volume and looks more like scratches, add some physical weight to the figure by placing one feet on the ground ... have no clue how fabric folds on the pants with that build - i would seek for reference and take a study. Bricks, I think, a bit big which take some oversize feel off from the figure. Some quick edit. Again - fabric folds questionable, don't have much time to figure it out. Cant explain myself these dark dots on clouds.

I did make mention of MY unnecessary dithering in the description.  I had no energy to go through colours to get the right shading like Fool does.  I'm a newb and still getting accustomed to choosing the right colour for gradient type shading,  I just had to make do with what i had there, and the dithering was easy lol. Apart from it being unfool like...i thought it actually looked ok :)

Colors are fairly well picked out, the background looks really good, but as Miumau said, Fool doesn't use that much dithering in his pieces. I think, for me, the dithering on the pants ruins it. But over all it's a good piece.

I think its good, but Fool doesn't use that much of dithering you can easily see. And There should be much more AA. Color choice is good.
