When he shoots, the light on the guy is very very nice!

Oh, you mean THAT stalker. Mmm. Is it a mobile game? Some words about story? When you plan to finish it?
BTW what the hell is M16 doing in Moscow subway? I thought it must be AK's everywhere.

I think for the game this is acceptable, even though in real life this would not happen. But, since when have games truly represented real life!? haha. Great job on the screenshot, cant wait to see the game.

Wow! Very big thank to you for your message. Very exciting.  Ok, my answer :

About light, coming up from the rifle - game is decided as a very dark, environment - dead subway after a great apocalypse (nuclear war, etc...) and people moving from station to station in complete darkness, mostly even without emergency red lighting in tunnels. And in this kind of surroundings I think the flash will be a very bright, especially for the eyes of underground man.

In this background I didn`t maked the shadows, that`s my fault .

In real game, the situation will be looks like on this screenshot ( flashes lights up a impenetrable darkness):

Thank for your advices, I will improve my pics.

Id just like to say when firing any form of this assault rifle (m4, m16a1,m16a2 etc..) the compensator serves to reduce the flash of the gunpowder igniting. This prevents the wielder from being spotted while firing from a hidden position on a hill or in some trees. (so basically you never see light come from the barrel unless it is VERY dark, and it is a very minor flash, not a huge fireball) Also the amount of smoke exiting the barrel is more than excessive, and the majority of smoke that comes from this rifle usually comes out of the Ejection port cover.

Another thing, judging by the hand guards (protect from over heating) you have pixeled the M16a2 model, which is incapable of rapid fire which is seen in the animation. The only possible ways of firing the m16a2 is single, or burst (3 round shot). The m16a1 commonly seen in Vietnam movies has a smooth hand guard...this rifle can fire full auto. (basic issued rifles no longer have the capability of full auto because it promotes wasting of ammo.) You know the magazine featured here can only hold 30 rounds. Looks like he fires a lot more. Sorry for the history lesson, I just get into my weapon knowledge.

Oh and one more thing, this guy is firing left handed obviously. (i'm a left handed shooter too) but the rounds that are being ejected are coming out of the wrong side. They should be shooting out of the right side of the rifle, I know this because it is a problem for me since I'm left handed. The rounds sometimes come really close to my face. The rifle was designed for right handers and the rounds would eject away from them, preventing hot brass going in your eyes.

I like the light reflection off of the guy, but the spotlight on the ground looks a bit too sharp.  It looks like the shells are jumping into his back pocket.

=O ... muy buen efecto el de los cartuchos cayendo hacia atras. le da mas realismo!

yeah, not bad!

This spot of light on the ground seems to be out of place. Recoil is too late. Smoke is to static. And, yes, the shells...

IMHO not bad, but needs some work.

pretty decent lighting effects!  The shells would look neat if the bounced off the back of the image.  The only real problem I have is with the smoke ... it feels too static.

Not S.T.A.L.K.E.R. =). shells its a trivial details...they no matter

Cheshire (Level 1 Intern) at 4/7/2008 1:58:27 AM
You mean S.T.A.L.K.E.R?
I like lights and shadows most. But where are shells disappearing?
