Well thank you dude, yess shadows are opacity, but this is a screen from the game, we had the shadows like this. Thank you very much, and ye the tiles has much contrast but it could work with little improvment. :)

I love those sprites! They're a little hard to make out over those tiles but when zoomed in they are really nice!

Are the shadows just black layers with lowered opacity? If so you're bound to catch some flack for it! Just a warning! I would have done it the same way (for simplicity) just FYI :)
