The original sketch I couldn't think of any clothes for the sketch, so I scaned it in and pixeled it. Though I feel like some of the emotions are lost in the pixel version. I like how the pose turned out and the kitty stool. That is a mouse toy in her mouth. Here's the refrence image that I used. Edit: Added some emotions to the girl and mouse. Fixed the shorts as well.

my only crit is on the crotch region. some erm.....study....of how women look.....with their legs apart....might do you well. God that's awkward advice.

the issue is that your reference is wearing jeans, which are heavy denim and completely obscure the shape in a way that cotton shorts definitely will not. she's also rolled slightly away from the camera, so the leg overlaps 90% of the form in a way that your character's leg does not.

I think her eye is the problem, the pupil was way darker in the sketch so that you could see her looking at the fish. I think that also helped to get that emotion you missed. Anyway, this is still a realllllly cool piece :) faved

lol wut...

I'm finding it really hard to see the fish and mice...and you don't really seem to be getting their expression across like you did in the sketch...well at least on my dark background...

Also the shading on her feet looks more like socks than shadows

Regardless it's awesome...and very odd... :3
