This blocky little flower yearns to be engulfed by the sun's rays. [Probably best viewed at 2x] (Have you noticed how weird the word yearning sounds if you keep repeating it in your head. yearning, yearning, yearning, yearning, yearning. etc...)

The design of the sky helps the "pulling" effect of the image. You can see how much the sunflower is struggling to get as much sunlight as possible. I suggest maybe making the sun look meaner, so you can see more of a one way struggle. (The sun looks to giving already)

@Stitchy - thanks, I did play around with the sun's rays being a bit thicker, but it just didn't really work out. And besides, this way the rays form more of an analogy to the roots, which is what I was going for :3

Neato! This piece is really well designed, and I think the nearly invisible text really works in its favor.

I think the suns rays could be a little thicker and more succulent, though, considering it's about yearning. But that's just me.
