Years ago a human from our world accidentally wondered into a dimensional rift while trying to climb up the mountains surrounding his hometown. This human (named hank) found himself in a weird world full of tree men and to his dismay was stranded for the remainder of his life. But durring his last few years he was accepted by the sentient plants as one of there own. The plants where saddened when they learned that his life span is only around 80 to 100 years long which seemed tiny in comparison to the thousands of years they live. His close friend and the plant that found him when he fell through the rift decided to travel back to the valley where he found hank to morn his death but when it arrived it fell victim to the same tear in reality and is now stranded on earth and at a loss on what to do.
