awesome, i like. i would only say that you seem to lose a little too much detail in the mid-dark range of colors. specifically between the dark red and the darkish green color.but now i also see you're not done yet, so you may have that in mind already : )

good job. totally agree on what already said. good style, nice mood, and overall effect.the only thing I'd rework a bit is the ground.

I love it !Your very own representation of death is really far from the orginal allegory but really representative of it. Surely because of the weapon (don't know the english name) and the clock.
The idea of the melting shadow at the bottom of the cape works perfectly.
Also I really like the red ribbon.
