Took me hours to get this mockup together. It has 72 frames! This is the original that the template is based on. Made for Blossomsoft.com's Western Lords/Sacrada Guardians. Project is being redone in 3D for NDS I'm afraid. Template: http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/19802.htm Background to make the smoke details appear on all PJ themes.

I have different animations with frames knocked for drawing speed, this is just the full anim. I couldn't really show all 4 draw speeds, so I only included this one. Thanks for the comments :)

And I agree about the breathing, that wouldn't have been used in the end, but this way you at least get an extra animation ;)

This is looking pretty decent, so it's a shame to hear about the switch to 3D :( The gun draw anim is smooth, but I might knock a frame or two out to make it quicker. Also, the breathing anim is a little too rigid, especially when compared to the rest...perhaps some internal animation of the clothing to suggest chest expansion, or maybe a slight movement of the hair could help.

I'd suggest the second, I think it looks the smoothest, despite the slightly over-the-top arm/shoulder swing.

I might suggest changing the preview to one of the individual animations as the preview, as it is, doesn't represent the coolness of the animations!
