My attempt at cute on the left, my attempt at 'girl' cute on the right. done for a job application. Actually doing girl cute is very difficult its not as easy as it looks.

Good point about shadows. Horses are hard to draw but I had a wooden model to help with volumes. Also, looking at diagrams of skeletons of horses helps. I even animated a horse falling over but that's another story ...

There is good cute & bad cute (or fun cute & sleazy cute)...this is good cute :)... but the eye-lashes on the unicorn is cutting it close! ;)

The grass-hadow on the left side could maybe have been a little brighter...it's a bit too close to the grey-shade of the legs.

Anyways, I'm always impressed when people draw horses (and these are pretty nice)...coz I've always sucked at it! (or never tried hardenough?)

Sabata - maybe girls prefer the style on the right. ANyway i should've just followed his instructions.

Any girls prefer the ones on the left? Its a game aimed at girls 12 -24 or something.
