This is a Nes-like mockup for my game. I think it could be barely done on the real thing. I borrowed the bar from my last mockup because that was also part of it, just an earlier version.

The game is supposed to be a blend of la-mulana and zelda elements. The next mockups should explain it better.

To my knowledge you aren't even close to breaking the limitations, as long as the trees are in fact background and not sprites.
