Found a sketch of a brain I drew awhile ago (not on the Internet at the moment, but if I get around to uploading it somewhere, I'll link to it) and decided to pixel it. This is more for AA practice-ish than anything else. EDIT (11-2-08): Tried dithering to get rid of the pillow shaded look. I've noticed some things that need to be changed (i.e. the crappy AA around it, the bright spot in the upper right corner, etc. etc.), and I'll change them when I get more time.

I think it looks pretty good! It needs a medulla, though. A more well defined light source would be good, but I think the pillow shading here isn't too bad.

Folk: Actually, I've seen a real brain, and I think it was more yellow.

Ricki: Hadn't thought about that. I'll definitely try to add that.

Badassbill: I wasn't sure how else to effectively shade it. Like, for example, I didn't want to dither a lot because I didn't want it to look really rough.

This could have been really good, but you used almost nothing but pillow shading.

Folk: Yes, brain is more grey but I think it would looks too usually. This colors made it more interesting ..:) Nice work ...
/btw perhaps it would need also outside AA work...
