This's been sitting on my HDD for a while now. Figured I might as well upload it. I was always dissatisfied with my previous Hmoon mockup. Mostly hte palette and how ununified everyhting was. So I did this one trying to minimise colour use as much as possible. Might seem super busy 'cause I tried to cram as many tiles in there as I could. Still leaving out a couple things but oh well. I really like how the grass came out. I always hated how hard it was to tell when hte grass was ready to be cut. 20 colours according to GGale. EDIT: noticed I was using the older black outlined animals so I replaced them.

Thanks for all the comments. Made me happy to see this in the top 4 of the weekly showcase for a couple days.

Darien: towards the end of this I really wanted to start combining the harvest moon mechanics with a post apocalyptic setting(Fallout Moon?). I've got some telephone poles and half buried cars and tires to go along with the shack. Adding all this stuff made me realise the cutesy style wasn't going to cut it so I ditched this version. No progress on my latest idea while I forget about digital and work on my drawings skills

I love every detail of this thing; the animals are too cute (and so are the inanimate objects!) and those tomatoes look delicious. The palette is gorgeous. This is a place I'd be excited to visit in a game.
