These are a few of the dancing zombies from the last scene of the Toxic Sonic game. The animations are pretty rough since we're in crunch time, but I think they're funny and that's really the point. Anyway, they're dead, so of course they're terrible dancers (and even worse, some of them are goth!). The last scene of the game is the nightclub that the zombie DJ boss has taken over. You have to kill all the dancing zombies and then the DJ stops spinning to come down and fight you. We put Oscar Wilde in there as a joke at the last minute -- Oscar Wilde's tomb in Pere Lachaise Cemetery is kind of an easter egg; if you find out you can open it and free Oscar Wilde, then he'll appear in this last scene as well, but if you don't open the tomb he won't be in the club.
My favorite is the dancing rudeboy. It was fun to animate a zombie skankin'!
The game is done, except for a couple more dancing zombies and then the French translation. We're a little behind schedule but that's mostly because the band is on tour so they're not available to help us put the finishing touches on the thing. We'll be done very soon! |
