Awesome. I'm reminded of the Tiki Room in Disney World. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? With the animatronic birds? Anyway, I like your toucan. The palette is great.

I don't even have the bird tilt in there yet... :P It was supposed to do it after it turns its head toward the front of the screen, but I couldn't get the perspective right. I might come back and try again after I become un-lazy but who knows when that will be~

the animation looks good! for the "bird-tilt" to work better, you should increase the actual distance traveled a bit more. But still keep the low framerate. like: 1. standard 2. inbetween 3. 'slightly more than extreme' frame ( like 1 pixel more in the direction of the movement) 4. the real extreme frame, held longer than the other frames.I haven't animated a birds head movement myself yet, so I'm not entirely sure if that motion would work, but at least thats the way I would try it.

Great picture and I agree that toucans are underrated. They need a lot more love. :)Just about your comment, wouldn't zombie toucans be made of pure win?

Oh gosh no penguins are way overdone. Toucans need their time to shine!although you can never get enough zombies :D
