I've re-done the piece and have it in the WIP section as I'll keep working on it until it's done rather than clog the gallery with more un-finished pieces.  Thanks.

Whether to outline or not is really personal preference. Try looking around the site at other pieces you like to get a idea of what you think might look good.

I originally did this off of a reference piece and just adapted as needed without any regard for iso... I think I may scrap it and re-do as true iso.  What would work better, lose the outline on the people or add it to the foreground? Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

This definitely needs animation! How cool would that be?
As is, I think it needs a bit of reworking. Your perspective is a bit wonky. You might try reviewing some isometric tutorials, and try it that way. Also, the outlined people clash with the not-outlined foreground. I think you should stick to one style in the piece.

I like the idea in general, keep working on it!
