I think the movie was too much underappreciated. Such a great film and hardly no-one knows about it.
The palette suits the mood of the movie perfectly. I would have very much liked to see this as a game. You've done a good job here.

As for the outlines... what can I say, I like them, they give that comic book feel that I love in pixelart, and I don't plan on getting rid of them anytime soon. So if I post something new in the future, be prepared for...

RE: color conservation - I used different colors for both sprites and tiles.
I like the simplisity, DE. The desat is definitely a good look, but I'm a little disappointed that you decided on outlines. It'd be very interesting to see this without or with more minimal outlines. Was equilibrium hte one with Christian Bale and the book burners?
forgive me if i'm wrong, but isn't eighteen colors a bit... ecxessive?
I'm totally loving this! Equilibrium is an underdeveloped piece of property and this mockup is amazing. You are able to do so much with so little color. The building should look huge and plain, but all the litle details and shading you use give it a lot of character and depth. Very impressive.
