(Made this for the weekly challenge, but got a little fuzzy on the exact rules. So I'm just submitting it on it's own now.) Every time I try to do something artist it ends up being a battle against my own demons. Due to my inadiquacies and lack of faith in my own abilites I end up scaling down every idea I ever have. Smaller, and smaller, and smaller, and smaller they become. And all I ever end up making are these tiny little pixels. Yup, I think this represents my own personal gateway to hell rather nicely.

Maybe try some iso stuff?

I find it easier in this precise respect, because of the rigid construction, sort of a rule you just follow. So you can more easily concentrate on other aspects.

It's also faster and more relaxing. And I just love good iso!

I know. It ends up being more frustrating than fun because of, well, exactly what you see up there. It becomes like quicksand in the end, the harder I try to improve my skills, the worse things get. X_X

if this is your workflow (and not too much of an exaggeration) you will never progress.

mspaint sucks get graphics gale, don't start over, copy a reference, learn how to shade, composition etc. drawing is a solitary, quiet activity that is supposed to be fun.

I think you're taking the concept of a gateway to hell TOO abstractly. Nice though. Lord knows I've been there too.

I like it, very creative. Only thing: It's a little choppy, and I think you should smoothen out the animation.
