i like this style of ship and its well done

I would tell you why I disagree but I'll message you instead

Light source is the top right hand corner.

The light source is changed on the engine pipes because of the light from the fire.i was going to animate the light by there making it flicker.

Anyways nvm

same problem faw, I had big plans for animating.

this is nice though the fire is very elegant, I agree with the smoke. I like the gold but the problem with this peice is there is no lightsource, look at the shading and try to find it (or them) it changes constantly. also the slopey metal bits before the pipes don't work. You should just make it so the pipes come out of the top.

Thanks.Lineart is definitely my strong point.My colouring really hasn't managed to catch up yet.

With regard to animation i was planing on adding steam,weapons fire and the bottom of the ship was going open to reveal a giant cannon thing.But deadlines,deadlines.

BTW it's just brown metal,if it was wood i would have done different shading,along with woody line things.

As much as  I love the structure and colors I think the shading is flat :(

realy nice design, saw it on the forum thread ... i realy did like ur first lineart sketch , big potential, but i think this as a finished version seems a little flat, espacially the main body and the captains cabin (or whatever), also the shading of the blueish metal kinda thing doesnt quite match with the wood, like LokiF said, some steam puffing outta the chimneys wouldve been nice and maybe some turning of this wind measurement thingy, but if theres no time 4 u .,... pity...

The animation gets the job done just fine, in my opinion. Some steam flowing from those 2 big pipes would be sort of cool.
