mmh... Nice idea, maybe you need to work more with the dither and try to make the shapes less flat...
You need also to adjust the "dots" dimension... you used 2x2 pixels squares, but it is better to use just one pixel at the time... If you want to make other people watch it at x2 dimension write it in the description of the submission... that would be better because this way anyone can "analyze" your dithering and shaping techniques both in normal size and zoomed one...
Perhaps you can remove the background and make it trasparent, that will make the pixel more readable...

Anyway you're using nice subjects and with some exercise they can become great pieces...
