I'm pretty sure Jal said I could enter my own contest. If not, well, guess they'll just have to reject it from the challenge. No big deal. I've been waiting a long time to post this.

I kind of took the lazy-mans way out and used a fairly neutral expression that I thought could fit all the situations. But a lot of games use some pretty wild ones for a bunch of different situations, so don't think that it's a great idea just to use the same one I did.

Great choose of colors, very well shaded.

I would try to seperate the left shoulder pad from the left chest pad... they kinda look attached

Just posting here for everyone other than Kaiseto.

When you win a challenge you can enter it. The advantage is that you have is in thinking about ideas and concept. The pixel work should be made during the week of the challenge however. This is something taht cannot really be proved but since we have the most ethical community we don't worry about it.

Anyway, I really like this on it's own. The face is probably my least favorite part, but the hair is done well.

Alright. I remember Jalonso saying that winning a previous challenge gave you a chance to get a head-start on your own, which sounded to me like it could be made at any time. Regardless, this is the kind of thing this challenge is looking for.

So use it as an example.

nice choice of colors, but its too big imo also the shading could be improved.. now it kinda looks like there are diffrent light sources for diffrent body parts

Submitted May 30th... and the challenge was made this week. You have to make things the week of the challenge, not earlier and then enter your own challenge knowing that you already had something that might win.

Sure, this can go into the gallery, but it doesn't count for the challenge.
