woooooooooooooooow oh man i cannot tell you how i love this work !
This is AMAZING. Absolutely brilliant! Love the Steampunk theme, love the bots, love this creation!
Possibly the only pixelart I rated to max.
Now back to ProMotion to learn some more from your work. ![]()
I would really love to know how you work so you are able to create such big, perfect, detailed image.
It would have taken me a year.
That's great fool!You can't leave!!!
This is astonishing!
Fool, you did it again... I cant beleave how you do all these pics
Нет, словами восторг уже не выразить. Прекрасная картина! Прекрасная!
All the textures are above awesomeness, good work!! =D
Really loved the details in the metal structure at the top-right.
This is probably one of the best pixels I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!...
!!!!!
you are my official pixel god. :D Youre just, amazing!
This is so incredibly detailed and complex; I love the background especially *_*
This is madness o_O do u have tutorials of any kind?
I just noticed that the robot being persuaded is holding a violin case.
w...w.....w.....w.....w.....w....wow W.O.W wow
This is amazing
Oh my dear sweet jesus.
I don't know what to say. It's a stunning piece that is amazing in every conceivable way.
Woo, more violins!
Just gorgeous, as usual, along with your patented story-telling abilities. I imagine that welding bot is fated to have a rather short and tragic life, as his job literally drains his life energy ;)
You know, sometimes I wonder if your pixels are so wonderful, how awesome your violins must be! :D
how is it that whatever you produce, you never cease to amaze me? :P
Thanks good people or kind words.=)
Raynoa, thanks man, fixed that up.
Pixel-Janz, yeap.
I am so lost. How is this even possible to do this? Fool, your work has inspired so many pixel artists. Its just flat out perfect. Although the AA on the lantern could be inproved a little. Maybe a little more smooth in a couple places.
Being speechless with your work is normal for me. This however has a minor detail that truly has blown me away. The metal plating of the steps... perfection o.O
Good lord! That's fantastic!!! Need I say it's popped into my Favourites :)
Definitely nice, but doesn't seem as good as your older things were... something is so off about it but I can't quite put my finger on it. Lots of colors and the robots still look so... sharp and contrasting, almost messy. It feels like I'm looking for something to be wrong, even though I can't stay exactly what... but it just doesn't seem as clean and smooth as your older pieces.
Once again we bow down to the greatness of the Fool...your work is epic and a yard stick for all aspiring pixellers........just wish I knew how you did it and where you got the time!!!!!
Fantastic !
One of your most narrative piece, I think, and this is the main interest of this picture : the picture itself is a story, no need to read the title or any explaination to understand it. I don't see anything to add, your style is gorgeous, the scene is clear... Personnaly I'm not fond of the red robot'face : the way you made his face makes think it's flesh, although there are some bolts on it. The face is not... enough robotic.
Words cannot describe how much i dig this piece. I espically love the contrast between the colorful robots, and the near photorealistic elements such as the cobblestone street.
I have always been a huge fan of your pixel art and how its always polished to a sheen, your attention to detail is unreal.
The texture on the stairs (on the right side of the image) is mind-blowing!
Excellent work Fool! I want to see that train in motion :)
I love you <3
Made me think of the Disney movie too
fool, you are definintely my favorite artist on pixel joint. you always have new stuff and it's always ridicously awesome! congrats on being kick ass!
This is a fantastic piece. I especially like the hazy city in the background and the detail in the foreground architecture. The robots are cute.
I cant get over the diamond cut on the stairs to the right of the image. What attention to detail!
I wouldn't steal your talent. It doesn't belong in the hands of someone like me!
I would duplicate it if I could without years of practice, though. :) You're awesome.
On the subject of tutorials, perhaps you could comment to yourself out loud while pixelling. I bet a transcript of your thought processes would provide just as much, if not more, insight than a careful, organized tutorial.
Prelestno!
Raduyut personaji, raduet mir (gde-to ryadom "ptica-govorun")
Edinstvennoe chto smushaet eto legkiy peregruz vnizu, etu bratvu tak i hochetsa postavit na chto-to, glaz trebuet prodolzheniya banketa )
A vobshe eto prelestno! )
I saw the preview and immediately knew whose this was. What can I say, is it even possible for you to produce a mediocre pixel?
I agree, though, the streets do look a little too clean.
Yep, another masterpiece from maestro! I think even artists from Pixar can't make so charismatic characters=)
I only wish if there will be some puddles of oil and gas, streets seems too clear for that district)
Wow the lighting and atmosphere in this blows my mind
I'm not really sure what I could SAY about it.=)
To my understanding tutorials are possible when one's could organized things that going through his mind into some sort of system someone else could follow. Sometimes I'm not thinking at all, basically not mentally present listening audiobook. I'm not known as strong planner and I won't even start on how my organizing skills are.=D
Basic idea is try and see what is happening. Sometimes things from the attempt give a totally new direction and so on. Colors are a separate hemoroid area, but same way as it is - try and see, just treating them as a values of light (and thats what it is) rather then just different color tones - for a fun of it. Just cant think of anything I could say clearly for a chapter or two at this point.
I might cry ;-;
this is wonderful fool, and I agree with Inq. You really should provide more insight into how you go about your pieces...they're just so great...
Not really sure what to do? How about some general scene making techniques that could be filled under sketching and not just pixel art? The planning stages of these pieces.
Or how you keep such a large scene under control from start to finish without losing sight of what you originally plan?
Or how you go about choosing the palettes which are so suitable and create the right mood of a piece?
Or how you mix plenty of detail with almost no detail so seemlessly (For example on "Scratch my back, would ya?" where you've got the highly detailed alligator city in front of the almost flat coloured mountains in the background, yet they do not clash!
Considering how you're the most decorated artist on the site, I'm certain these are things we all want to see! I can certainly say that I'm one of the guys that would most like to see this. We all want to pick your brain. :)
That is really awesome man you are freaking awesome ![]()
OMG DUDE YOU are amazing...... Gosh i wish we could steal people's talent :) FOr sure i would get yours!
Beautiful as always. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the shading and stone road detail! 5/5
Fool you are too cool with your fooly cooly pixel skiiruzu! "Weldo" makes me smile
The Pixel god has spoken in pixels again!!!
You are such an inspiration, thanks for sharing your work ![]()
It's all great and all, but I'm specially in love with the background and mood :)
When you think youve seen the best of Fool, your happily mistaken :P Once again wow'd :D
W00t!!! A new piece by Fool!!! This IS a great day!!!
Man, I'm in tears just looking at this... I'd sure like to see a copy of that contract you signed with the guy downstairs!
Total respect.
Thanks guys=)
TheInquisitor, can't think of any tutorial I could make - not good to explaining things or can tell in advance if actions I take on the picture will make it looks certain way.
Elk, sinse all pieces are made in diffeternt time don't really have wip for the whole pic, maybe just a few last gifs on the color tweaking stages. I'll see if I could get some disent shots together.
Hatch, thanks=) Checked with dictionary and fixed.=)
Holy shit, the idea and the pixeling really blows my mind.
I see a group of unkempt boys who won't let a ladylike girl (violin and all) into their club. The title suggests a similar scenario, but Buzz isn't a particularly girly name, and there's another character who could obviously be called Buzz (the bee-bot), but he's already a member of the club. Am I misinterpreting something?
Change the preview please, it is very misleading. Awesome job!
wow! this is friggin awsm!!!! perfection at its best!!
only thing i could criticize is that this is TOO perfect!! ^^.... for me this almost looks like a hand drawn illustration, and hardly seems like PA (it surely is PA) but i think im more into the oldschool 8bit era which has a kind of impressionistic feeling to it, wether ur one of the old manieristic masters
but anyway , this surely is just superb!!!
Bump for tutorial!
I second that motion...or third it? ![]()
I always look forward to new pieces of art by you Fool, they're always so amazing.
You seems to really like robots isn't it. Or maybe because it's easier to do (for my mind I think not ^^).
Excellent job however (as usual !!).
Bump for tutorial!
You're a damn master, Fool!!! ![]()
You ever thought about making a tutorial, Fool? Your pieces are always so creative and inspirational.Your pixel work ain't too bad either.

Just perfect: colors, textures, atmosphere, and all this in a big picture (548 x 480 o_o ).
How can you do such beautiful pictures ?
