Made for the Collaborations/Challenges thread Greek Gods Incognito where you have to create a Greek God on one half and their human disguise on the other. This is my take on Hades, God of the Underworld. On one side he's the ruler of death, on the other, he is just a normal guy enjoying a day at the park. Took about 20 hours in the span of 10 days...48 colors used.

The foot was definitely something that was bothering me...I also tried making him in shades of red but it all blended into a big mess with the background, might have to add more colors to my palette. The non human skull was intentional.

I will work on it some more, make some changes and will update the image.

You have anatomy issues. I'd do an automn park on the right to save colours and to integrate that tree on top better. The clothes' behaviour (creation of folds) can be made better. Hair is very blocky, try and get something finer and more fragmented. Hell should be far more intense colour-wise.

Wow, impressive!

A few problems:

left knee (ours) should be higher since foot is raised; skull is definitely not human ;-), foot is squarish.

Also, the whole Hades side including Hades should be lit very differently from the right side: either all reddish, or a darker grey.

But keep that progressive blending at top and bottom!
