This took a while. Decided I needed to finish it a few days back. Think I can call it done now, after plenty of help here and on Pixelation.

24 Colours, colour use isn't optimal.

But I'm satisfied non the less (:

excellent use of colors!

sharprm (Level 4 Deputy) at 9/9/2009 12:32:55 AM

Good bubbles.

Kyata (Level 2 Quiet One) at 8/8/2009 10:01:15 AM

Solved already. :)

Opacus (Level 7 Ichikyu) at 8/8/2009 2:57:25 AM

I think it's your browser or your screen. Looks fine to me. Are you having the same problem with more pictures on the site?

Kyata (Level 2 Quiet One) at 8/8/2009 2:36:43 AM

Great picture! But one question: Why is everything blurred? :s Is it my browser maybe?

Green_Hell (Level 2 Flatfoot) at 8/6/2009 4:13:53 AM

Opaque ;-)

Dr D (Level 2 Kukyu) at 8/5/2009 11:12:45 PM

Holy crap, I just looked at the last page of Opacus' gallery.

That's some MAJOR improvement, man. Props. This piece is great.

DJD (Level 4 Button Man) at 8/5/2009 12:14:05 AM

wow.

if there was an award for most improved and hardest work, you should win em' indefinitely. Though there is always still plenty more to learn, I feel like you can noticably see yourself becoming exactly what you set out to be with your first pixel works. This is a fantastic piece, keep it up!

ui_ (Level 1 Rookie) at 8/4/2009 7:01:22 PM

the colors are awesome man :OOOO and the pieze itself is really good to :D. Here is my only critict or suggest, try to use a little dark colors in the background as you did with the blue one. Maybe that will create more ambient and deep on the pieze :D. Goodjob

darchangel (Level 1 Rookie) at 8/3/2009 11:32:06 AM

Jaggys or not, this is beautiful. Job well done.

d9nis (Level 1 Rookie) at 8/3/2009 8:38:59 AM

argh!

I'm afraid of jellyfish :p

Squirrelsquid (Level 4 Shichikyu) at 8/3/2009 7:07:34 AM

I like it a lot. as mentioned a bit jaggy here and there, but I could tell instantly that it was yours :)

Manupix (Level 5 Assistant Manager) at 8/3/2009 7:02:45 AM

Wow, incredible!

I believe it took time...

Now, if I really had to say something, might be this: I don't really have a feeling of transparency, either in the water or the beast. Don't ask me why... I'd be very happy with myself if I could do that!

susuwataris (Level 6 Yonkyu) at 8/2/2009 11:12:20 PM

That's seriously beautiful.

Fool (Level 6 SWAT) at 8/2/2009 9:19:25 PM

Awesome piece.=) Wish jellyfish and bg would relate somehow colorwise.

Skurwy87 (Level 5 Killer Klown) at 8/2/2009 5:34:29 PM

oh, and forgot to tell you -- I really like how you shaded (count aa in) the hmm tentacles? . . . especially that subtle dithering patterns in their upper parts. makes me want to stare at them all over.

blueleds (Level 1 Rookie) at 8/2/2009 3:51:32 PM

Coool.. i like the vibrant orange colors

RollerKingdom (Level 1 Rookie) at 8/2/2009 3:09:28 PM

Wow amazing!!!

The B.O.B. (Level 11 Master Assassin) at 8/2/2009 1:10:46 PM

Looks good. Only problem I have is that the tentacles-stingers of the Jelly fish seem to be a bit too intense, color wise. I wouldn't use such a bright red, considering how thin the tentacles are...maybe a duller red/amber color mixed blue/olive hue to give it that type of glow...but yeah, been watching at pixelation, and liked what I saw. Everything that I would have said, has already been said there before, so nothing else much from me.

ps, love the bubbles!

Opacus (Level 7 Ichikyu) at 8/2/2009 1:05:58 PM

The innability to spot jaggies on my own artwork is really starting to piss me off. I really thought I got rid of all I could get rid of. But I guess you've still found some?

Dex (Level 11 Psychopath) at 8/2/2009 12:56:34 PM

Aside from the jaggies I love it, man =)

fav

kvetacek (Level 6 SWAT) at 8/2/2009 12:48:03 PM

Wow! It's great! :)

asukicco (Level 7 Ichikyu) at 8/2/2009 12:43:47 PM

This is really great! I dig the colours choice, very nice and effective. I also think a little heavy use of AA can make it more jellyfishy-ish as well as making it more round and soft. : )

Celri (Level 4 Ensign) at 8/2/2009 12:24:30 PM

FANTASTIC!  I love jellyfish!  This is gorgeous - faved!

Skurwy87 (Level 5 Killer Klown) at 8/2/2009 12:13:11 PM

it was cool to watch the progress on pixelation. very nicely done!

Manjaman (Level 3 Stalker) at 8/2/2009 12:12:55 PM
