Another older piece; June of 08.

I actually had like 2 or 3 of these to do over the course of like, a day or two. Like really, I had practically no time to actually get all of them done AND sleep. :P Wasn't my fault though; last minute commission are like that.

Heck, the concept was actually pretty weird... something about collceting drops of booze and coffee in a bottle...

Anyhow, this image's design actually had people in it, but I uploaded the version that didn't have them in it. I kind of like it without them, frankly.

I think I'd changed a few color choices and lighting in this image if I were to redo it... though, for being sleep deprived, I don't mind it too much.

In addition to what has been said, there is a major perspective issue (lines on the floor should converge on the horizon) but I don't see how this could be fixed without ruining the great wood, so...

that's some neat wood! lower contrast on the sea, more color variation in it aswell.
also, dont forget the shadows :) *points at sticks*

nice, i like the lighting, rly atmospheric, also good job on the wood,.... but i think the sand could be somewhat brighter, though, it looks kind of muddy now and doesnt have that tropical white sand feel
