Well I didnt put any effort in my picture, if you did it, it would look way better.
But all right then.

Their little black orifices are what give them their character.

The winking one is my fav.

It appears black because most of the light entering the pupil is absorbed by the tissues inside the eye.

(so not copy pasted from wikipedia)

But yeah... Back to your art. I think it wouldnt look bad if it had some white in the eyes.

I was looking at my artwork, and was like: Huh? What does he mean? just the BG is transparent right?

Yes, of course pupils are transparent, how would light otherwise possibly get in? :p

 Its actually transparent, but it looks black for some reason.

But I think de Thch meant the white area of the eyes.

I could not place those in the middle, so it would always look as if he was looking to the side. Also, as far as I can remember: Pupils are black, right?
