Yes, the image may lack a bit shade, texture & AA...but on the positive side you caught the reaction of the cat very well! (And I don't think you should revise a challenge-piece)

was trying to draw a chocolate labrador im gonna do the revisions on this and other works sometime this month anyway

The cat is pristine.

The dog doesn't look like a dog... the mouth is too narrow and the eyes are too human. The ears also look strange.

i know it looks kind of unfinished, but i have been trying to fit it in this past week due to my busy schedule. sorry to snap but i have been under stress lately.

i agree; i should added some texture to the carpet, but i will have to wait until challenge is over (i'm scared that i won't get credit)

Could really use dithering- and the carpet or wtv could have some texture.

i'll remember that next time. i was pretty much pressed for time because i'm using it to study for finals. but thanks for the advice.

This a great idea.  I agree with susuwataris tho.  I little more shading would go a long way.  The shape of the cat is classic. 

It's looking pretty unfinished to me. You could add more shades and textures so it doesn't have that unfinished look.
