Yeah, I'd say the shoes look incomplete compared to the rest. A few more highlights to add shape and detail should do it. Rather like the design, though!
That's some weird shading, and 22 colors? looks more like 8 or 9
Great looking character! I think you should put more detail and shadows on the shoes.
Really cool image. However, it's only 22 colors and many of these are almost blacks, which indicates processing of some kind or poor palette-management.
The selective outline is a bit strange; the image doesn't look bad on any background, but it doesn't look quite right either.

thank you everybody, about the lack of details: well I'm studying a way to 'serial' the coloration since I'm going to make more sprites of it and I want to make it look simple and flat. palette control will be surely a big problem to take care of, seen my aim. thanx again
